WestPoint Stevens, Inc. (WPS) was awarded a new and expanded licensing partnership with Ralph Lauren Home, a division of Polo Ralph Lauren. The agreement effective January 1, 2001, renews the current license for WestPoint Stevens to exclusively produce various bedding products under the Ralph Lauren Home brands.

WestPoint Stevens is "delighted to be expanding the relationship with Ralph Lauren," commented WPS chairman and CEO Holcombe T. Green, Jr. WestPoint Stevens has had a long-standing partnership, manufacturing unique lifestyle furnishings for the home under the Ralph Lauren brands since 1983.
