The Twelfth Annual Technical Conference & Expo of the American Filtration & Separations Society was held at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, MA on April 6-9, 1999. The theme of this conference was Advancing Filtration & Separation Solutions For The Millennium. The book of Proceedings from this conference is now available for purchase. It comes in two volumes: volume 13a and volume 13b. These proceedings are sold as a set only; however, they are available at the single volume price.

The book contains over 150 technical papers covering 39 filtration and separation sessions on membrane, solid/gas and solid/liquid applications. There are several papers on new technology and innovations, filtration theory, and filter media testing and selection to name a few. There is a special emphasis on membrane topics including biomedical and biotechnology separation.
