The TME-DC series of embroidery machines is designed to allow users to sew designs on a multitude of finished and unfinished goods such as jackets, caps, t-shirts, socks, bags, dresses, draperies, curtains, and wall coverings.

The series includes four models in six, 12, 15, or 18 head configurations, with 12 needles on each. This allows for the use of up to 12 different colors on each head. Sewing fields are 14- × 14-in. or 14- × 19.5-in., depending on the model.

Series features include a new frame driving system and pulse stepping motors for accurate sewing and up to 800-rpm sewing speeds. The machines are equipped with a long arm to provide an extended embroidery field length, as well as a new framing system for quick changeover between standard, tubular, and finished cap sewing. In addition, the series' easy-to-use control panel assigns single keystrokes to frequently used functions.

Features also include:

  • Built-in 3.5-in, 2DD disk drive
  • Memory capacity of 304,000 stitches in up to 99 designs
  • Automatic thread trimming
  • Take-up guard lever to prevent thread entangling
  • Automatic-manual offset
  • Origin return
  • Ability to scale up to 200% or down to 50% of original design, and to rotate the design in 1° increments
  • Repeat a design up to 99 times vertically or horizontally
