Gold Needles for Acupuncture

Since ancient times, in traditional Oriental medicine, great importance has been attached to the metal used in needles. At present, many scientists agree that gold has an additional healing effect in acupuncture. Supermetal has developed gold alloy of 750 fineness. "Super-TZ", from which the cores of the needles are produced, according to a special technology. This alloy has been rewarded with the Silver Medal of the International Exhibition "Brussels-Eureka '95~'. Gold needles, produced by Supermetal, are easy to handle, withstand repeated sterilization in various media without any changes in appearance. Needles with convex-conical (bullet-like) points are popular among reflexotherapeutists. The handle of the needle is a dense wire spiral, wound upon a gold core and welded thereto. It is made of a highly corrosion-resistant base alloy or of gold alloy "Super-TZ". Supermetal's gold needles of type dimensions (see the Table), as well as needles of other dimensions and other alloys (silver, platinum), is possible.
