The Horizontal Cross-Lapper is a high-speed, multi-featured machine that delivers non-woven web from a card or garnett and laps it onto a floor apron. The fiber is conveyed on anti-static, self-tracking aprons at speed up to 220-ft/min and the laydown is infinitely adjustable via remotely mounted computerized digital controls.

The machine features a rugged steel construction that consists of heavy structured steel rails, legs and cross-girts with steel weldment supports. The machine's traverse carriages use light weight materials to reduce shift loads and are supported and tracked with a ball bearing "V" groove system capable of high speeds and resistant to lint build-up.

The cross-lapper also features a state-of-the-art drive and reversing system, a guarding system with heavy gauge construction and viewing windows, a keypad for operator interface, and programmable line speed.

The unit measures up to 240-in. in length and up to 140-in. in width with varying heights depending on floor apron height. The machine weights 12,000-lb and offers options that include wood slat aprons, DC or AC inverter apron drive, static eliminators, dual-entry aprons, pan or roll discharge, stand-alone controls, air-clutch transmission, and a frame-mounted floor apron with motorized adjustment.
