HP-S 68 spindles guarantee maximum spindle speeds up to 25,000 rpm under industrial conditions
HP-S 68 spindles guarantee maximum spindle speeds up to 25,000 rpm under industrial conditions.

The blade diameter of 6.8 mm allows the use of minimum wharve diameters of 18.5 mm. Consequently, there are considerable savings in power consumption, as the speed of the spindle drive may be lowered even when attaining higher spindle speeds.

The footstep bearing incorporates a radial and an axial bearing with independent functions. For this reason, and due to the modified neck bearing, smooth running of the spindle and a low noise level are ensured. At the same time, energy consumption is reduced. The spindles can no longer rise at high speeds.

The optional NASA (Noise Absorbing Spindle Assembly) spindle bearing offers in addition:

  • further noise reduction compared with spindles with rigid bearings
  • additional savings in power consumption
  • less out-of-balance wear on the neck bearing
