KTF, Constant Tension Feeder

The KTF, Constant Tension Feeder, Electronic Tension Control System is designed to compensate for the changes in tension that occur throughout every yarn package and from one package tied in with a second package. Developed by BTSR, the KTF is a user programmable, digital electronic system with a yarn prefeeder that allows the user to control yarn tension below that tension level found on the supply package. These tension changes can adversely affect yarn and fabric formation. The KTF is appropriate for all critical yarn feeds in such applications as texturing, covering, winding, knitting, etc. Yarns can be continous filament, staple, stretch (covered or bare) or inelastic; from small count/ fine denier knitting yarns to sewing & embroidery thread.
