The American Apparel Producers' Network is a non-profit trade association for sourcing of designs, fabric, trim, supplies and makers of apparel and sewn products. AAPN is still the only trade group in America offering FREE e-mail broadcasts to source apparel production

The AAPNetwork was founded in 1981 by Don Strickland. Sue C. Strickland has been Executive Director since 1990. She awards the annual Don Strickland Memorial Scholarship, named for her late husband, to an apparel manufacturing student at Southern Polytechnical State University in Marietta, GA. She is the day-to-day manager of the association, and one of the industry leaders in the domestic apparel industry.
