With a corporate history dating back to 1845, Avondale Incorporated, with its operating company, Avondale Mills, Inc., is the oldest textile manufacturing concern in the United Sates. For more than 150 years, the company has embraced a tradition of excellence in its products, integrity in its dealings with customers and concern for the well 0being of its associates and the communities in which plants are located. This tradition has enabled Avondale to continually grow and prosper through some of the best and worse years in our nation's history. This same tradition will continue to serve the company well as it positions itself for the challenges of the 21st century.
