DigiFab Systems Launches Grand-Format DigiHeat Heat Press

Los Angeles, CA – DigiFab Systems, a manufacturer of pre- and post-press digital-printing equipment, CAD - RIP software, and pre-treated textiles, recently announced its grand-format DigiHeat 136132-X3 electrical heat press for transferring dye sublimation prints to polyester and poly-blend fabrics. This latest addition to the DigiHeat family of electrical heat presses reaches up to 132 inches in width and features a Teflon-coated carbon drum that delivers uniform heat dispersion for superior color consistency from edge to edge and down the length — while allowing for quick heat up as well as cool down.

This new grand-format DigiHeat heat press is perfect for such applications as designer apparel, promotional and gala events, flexible banners, home furnishings and decor, sports wear, promotional apparel, and more.

Recently shown in the HP booth at the 15th Shanghai International Ad, Print, Pack, Paper Expo 2007 (APPPEXPO 2007), the DigiHeat 136132-X3 demonstrated advanced fabric transferring capabilities on output from HP's grand-format HP Scitex XL1500 sublimation digital printing system.

The DigiHeat 136132-X3 heat press has multiple-zone temperature control across the width of the machine to ensure consistent heat from left to right as well as down the length of any roll of material that requires heat transferring. The even heat provides better color accuracy from edge to edge as well as front to back. The DigiHeat 136132-X3 electric heat press offers a 14-inch drum for a swift transfer rate up to 12 feet per minute, considerably faster throughput than competitive inkjet heat presses.

Additional benefits include easy operation, low maintenance, air-driven tension control, automatic felt control and cool-down timer, roll-to-roll and sheet-fed options, adjustable temperature and speed controls, and a convenient digital LCD operating display.
