AATCC To Host Symposium On Advances In Nonwovens, Technical Textiles & Sustainable Materials

Research Triangle Park, NC - AATCC will host a symposium on advances in nonwovens, technical textiles, and sustainable materials from October 10-11 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The program will feature papers on protective performance materials, sustainable materials, multi-functional material additives, and engineered fibrous materials.

Mary Hennessy, president & CEO, Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) and Rory Holmes, president at INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, will provide market updates on the industrial fabrics and nonwoven industries. Dr. Eugene Wilusz, Natick Soldier RD&E Center, will cover current state-of-the-art and future research needs in the chemical and biological protection area using fibrous materials. Developments in nonwoven decontamination wipes will be addressed by Amit Kapoor, president, First Line Technology LLC.
