Americhem, Inc. is a manufacturer of custom color concentrates and specialty dispersions serving the thermoplastics processing industry for over 50 years. Its headquarters and two manufacturing plants are in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, with additional plants in Elgin, Illinois, Mansfield, Texas, Concord, North Carolina, Salisbury, Maryland, and in Manchester, England. Additional sales offices are located in Korea with agents throughout the world.

Americhem's core competencies include the rigid control of color and other properties in the articles utilizing its concentrates. Core technologies include color matching, formulating, compounding, weathering, electrical conductivity, and dispersion of colorants and other active ingredients to impart desired effects to the final compound or article. These other active ingredients include antioxidants, flame retardants, ultraviolet stabilizers, ultraviolet brighteners, antimicrobials, lubricants, blowing agents, and intrinsically conductive polymers.

Dispersions of these materials are available in: polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, ABS, SAN, TPE, polyacrylonitrile, nylon, acetal, ionomer, polyesters, TPO, polycarbonate, various weatherable polymers, TPR, and most other thermoplastic resins, alloys, and compounds. Product forms available are cubes, pellets, powders and liquids.

Americhem maintains Product Design and Quality Testing laboratories at each of its plants, with Research and Development and Commercial Development laboratories located at corporate headquarters. This deployment of people and resources confirms Americhem's commitment to the development of the technology of dispersions, processing, weathering, and other performance characteristics of thermoplastic products required in the marketplace.
