<%=company1%> brought to the attention of visitors to ATME several new innovations by their principals, OMMI, Italiana Rigenerazione, Gualchierani and Gaudino.

OMMI of Prato, Italy has been very successful providing machinery for fiber preparation and blending for the Nonwoven market. OMMI supplies Bale Openers electronic load cell weigh pans for production rates of over 2,000 pounds per hour. An alternative is a load cell controlled conveyor. OMMI has introduced several new Openers for the wide variety and demands of fiber opening for the nonwoven industry. OMMI has supplied Openers for opening fibers 99% without stress, opening micro deniers and long fibers at production rates of 3,000 to 6,000 pounds per hour. OMMI is the largest supplier of batch blending systems for the United States and Canada and has experience meeting the many demands of the textile market.

Italiana Rigenerazione (IR) of Prato, Italy was able to show ATME visitors their expertise in textile reclamation. IR has sold or installed six lines in the United States and Canada in the past five years, three lines are 2 meters (79 inches) in working width. IR has lines producing bit free cotton fiber from woven and knitted cotton clips, opening and cleaning post consumer and industrial carpet, fiberglass, nomex and arimad by-products. IR wants to be challenged to open the textile industry's by-products for reuse and keeping them out of the landfill.

Gualchierani was able to inform visitors about their new GSA/2000 Automated Bale Press and Automation for continuous filament spinning, palletization and spinning mills.

Over 30 Gualchierani GSA Balers have been sold and the GSA is one of the few innovated products developed in recent years. The key to this baler is the ability to have it installed completely above ground within one week. It is much easier to clean, takes up less floor space, fewer repair and maintenance costs, and is easier to automate than the traditional carrousel baler. All the above at a lower investment than the other balers found in the market today.

Gualchierani Automation showed their flexibility to automate a wide range of textile processes. Gualchierani has automated all the material handling in spinning mills, filament production, dye houses, rolled goods, and warehousing. They are the only company with such a wide range of products and produce over 80% of their production internally. A new development is Gualchierani's experience in automating BCF plants.

Gaudino of Cossato, Italy was able to announce the sale of two additional automated woolen frames to Guilford of Maine. These frames are completely automated and linked to automatic winding. Gaudino has sold or installed over 100 spinning frames in North America. Their FPT/310 for the carpet market is able to reduce labor by 50% in the spinning and winding area in carpet yarn spinning mills. The new Gaudino worsted frame with spinning finger now has over 100,000 spindles sold.
