Automatic Guillotine Strip Cutting Machine: Models SC 336 & 636

The SC 336/636 Series strip cutters are microprocessor-controlled, fully automatic guillotine (cold-cut) strip cutting machines, designed and manufactured in Denmark by K. SUHR A/S. They measure and cut almost any type of synthetic or natural material, from thin ribbon to heavy webbing, using a heavy-duty guillotine. The "-P" models use a high-speed pneumatically operated guillotine.

These machines are especially suited for materials such as hook & loop, zipper chain, elastics, cotton webbing, cord, ribbon cable, leather, and plastics, including tubing, boning, and films.

The machines may be operated in either metric (millimeters, mm) or English units (inches), as needed. The machine can measure and cut small or large quantities of materials in lengths ranging from 0.1" (or 1 mm), to over 100 yards (99.9 m). It will produce consistently accurate lengths and high-quality cut edges. Frequently used lengths can be programmed into the machine memory for instant recall. Eight standard memory cells are available for this purpose.

The machines are portable and designed for tabletop operation, using a 110VAC or 220VAC single-phase power supply, and clean, dry compressed air ('-P' models only).

OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES:
Photocell Attachment: used for precise cutting of printed materials, reading from a registration mark, for example. Custom sensing devices can also be provided.

Auto Marking Device: pneumatically driven device for the automatic placing of marks on the material as it is being cut. Two types of marking devices are available - hot foil (model SC 390) and cold ink (model SC 380).

Zip Welding Device: automatically makes a temporary seal in one end of a synthetic zipper with a heated iron during the cutting process.

Prefeed Device: an auxiliary device for pulling heavy materials, elastics, or in any case where greater precision is needed. (Highly recommended when using an Auto Marking Device, models SC 390/ SC 380).
