Cranbury, NJ - Bluestar Silicones, formerly Rhodia Silicones, is making its debut at the Industrial Fabrics Association International's (IFAI) EXPO October 3-5 in Las Vegas sporting its market leading capabilities and new company name.

A leader in elastomeric silicones for safety restraint systems in the automotive industry, Bluestar Silicones will feature its silicone capabilities in the areas of safety restraints, architectural coatings, fire protection, water repellency and medical textile applications.
Located at Booth 773, Bluestar Silicones is featuring its Rhodorsil TCS 7536 elastomeric coating for surgical gowns and drapes, which offers primerless adhesion and durability of more than 50 wash and autoclave cycles while providing efficient coatability for high speed coating and faster throughput.
Bluestar Silicones brings its experience in high performance applications to demanding sportswear applications via its innovative Advantex silicone-based technology. The unique Advantex (technology combines hardshell and softshell performance features without compromising ultra durable water resistance under extreme conditions.
In addition, the company is launching Rhodorsil TCS 7001, a new water repellent for synthetic fabrics that provides superior wash resistance.
