Carter Tapes: For Spindle Drives

Only the best quality tapes are stocked in several types to suit performance requirements and machine designs.

• A patented joining system assures perfect end bonds with no variation in thickness or flexibility.
• Available in any width and length with skived ends only, preglued ends or made endless.
• Available also slit to width and in rolls of 328 feet.

Cartabond® Tape Bonding System:

• Cartabond tape bonder is recommended to use when bonding Carter spindle drive tapes and is to be plugged in during bonding time.
• Available in two models for 110V and 220V operation. It is adjustable and can be used for all Carter spindle drive tapes.

Mobile Power Cart:

• This uniquely designed cart gives you 110V portable power for the Cartabond tape bonder when bonding tapes.

Cartabond® Tape Bonding Solution

• A nylon synthetic adhesive which activates at 300° F.
• This solution is otherwise known as our preglued system. This may be applied in our shop with protective tabs applied over the skived ends to protect the glue, or it may be purchased in 1.75 oz. applicator bottles to be applied in the work place.
• Also available are cold clamps to be used to quick-set the bond after the tape comes out of the bonder.
