In connection with any boarding machine or machines or as manually operated, allows the hosiery manufacturer a new option for their manufacturing production process.

The most recent innovation:

Computer controlled, Thermal Transfer Inline Printing Modules. The modules eliminate the needs of pre-printing the barcode and SKU information onto the packaging material, which reduces the inventory space, cost and the risk of the wrong SKU or barcode information dramatically. The name Markem with its 300DPI Smartdate 2i guaranties exceptional print quality on most materials. Additionally the machine will verify the barcode and could also print and apply labels (with additional label applicators) to the package. As the machine packs the product, the module prints the boards or labels on demand, (up to 3 direct in print stations are on a standard module). The format can easily be changed by the means of the operator scanning a code.

The patent pending module can also be used as a stand-alone version and is available for L-I-V-U boards as well as for Paper Board Envelopes (PBE) or Tights Hang Packs. All print modules can be added to existing packaging machines with speeds up to 35/min inline or as offline up to 40/min.
