DigiFab Systems Launches StampaJet, High Speed Textile Digital Printer

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DigiFab Systems, a manufacturer of pre- and post-press digital-printing equipment, CAD - RIP software and pre-treated textiles, today announced its StampaJet 8-color, high-speed, textile digital printer for high-quality production runs on virtually any kind of textile substrate. This latest addition to DigiFab System's line of products reaches a production speed of up to 39 linear yards per hour. The printer uses a new self-cleaning adhesive belt transport system that prevents even the smallest movement of the substrate — ensuring perfect registration with any kind of fabric, from woven to stretch to sheer.

DigiFab System's StampaJet is the ideal printer to print digitally on virtually any type of fabric at high print speeds with exceptional quality. Prints are suitable for printed textiles, apparel, home furnishing, gaming, flag and banner, soft signage, and industrial applications.

"Users who print digitally on fabrics and who have struggled with media handling, fabric variety, and printing speed will now be able to master all three thanks to DigiFab System's StampaJet digital textile printer," said Avedik Izmirlian, president of DigiFab Systems. "With this new machine's combination of speed, fabric versatility, competitive pricing and small footprint, we have opened new opportunities for textile digital printing."

DigiFab System's StampaJet features the new extra wide, variable-dot Epson print heads, with 1440 nozzles per head — four times more than conventional print heads. A sophisticated laser device checks on-the-fly nozzle efficiency and prevents print faults. A rotating brush washing unit with an open water circuit prevents 'back printing' by removing the excess ink from the adhesive blanket. The printer is also delivered with two hot air infrared dryers to dry printed fabric and ensure all water traces are removed from the printing system.

The StampaJet 8-color ink set prints via a large-capacity, bulk ink feed system. Available ink types include dye, reactive, disperse, acid and pigment. All inks are aqueous based and post processing using steam (or heat fixing) and washing are required to finish the printed textiles for production quality.

Pricing and Availability

The machine is delivered fully assembled and is driven by DigiFab's Evolution Textile RIP® and coloring software which makes the printer ready for immediate printing with exceptional color control. The StampaJet high speed textile digital printer is available now from DigiFab Systems and its dealers with a list price of $159,000.
