Eadie Rings and Travellers

Eadie is the source for PSM rings. These rings are used for heavy yarns such as carpet yarn, tire cord, and fiber glass. The whole of the PSM surface is covered by microscopic pores which are interconnected to the internal pores which contain the oil supply. As a traveller starts to run on the ring bearing surface friction is generated which creates a capillary effect and thermal expansion of the oil. Oil starts to emerge from the surface pores and is evenly spread by the traveller over the bearing surface. With a PSM ring there is a constant automatic self adjusting oil flow to the bearing surface.

Eadie makes Nylon travellers to run on these rings in both European series and American series.
