When Fiber Controls Corporation was established in 1952 to manufacture automated blending equipment for the textile industry, we soon recognized and appreciated the need for a worldwide sales effort. That appreciation continues into the present day, evidenced by the fact that there are probably more Fiber Controls' Snowflakers in use than any other chute feed. Today, we have a fully developed line of machinery for processing short and long staple fibers, for cotton, blends, synthetics, non-wovens, and carpet. Fiber Controls holds numerous patents, indicating our ongoing innovation and adaptability. Our 80,000-square-foot plant in Gastonia, North Carolina houses our administrative offices, mechanical and electrical engineering departments, machine shop, metal forming department, welding department, and assembling and painting facilities. All of our staff works with customers to understand special needs and to ensure that all equipment is built to correspond to those requirements.
