Fine Mohair Boucle Loop Yarn Now Spun in South Africa

Mohair Spinners South Africa (MSSA) have announced that for the first time, fine mohair boucle/loop yarn is now being commercially produced in South Africa.

MSSA, specialist mohair spinners, is the worsted spinning division of the Stucken Group housing facilities in Uitenhage, South Africa. Recent installations have been completed including additional machinery for the production of finer count fancy yarns.

This new range of fine mohair boucle/loop yarns, from NM 4 to NM 12, will complement MSSA's existing coarse count boucle/loop collection. Initially a stock service will be offered in raw white for NM 4 and NM 9. MSSA also has dyeing facilities available on site.

MSSA is a worldwide supplier of mohair and mohair blend apparel weaving and velour upholstery yarns. The additional investment consolidates MSSA's presence in the fancy yarn sector whilst underscoring the Stucken group's long term commitment to mohair.
