Using polyolefins and fluoropolymers, AET creates lightweight, apertured fabrics with symmetrical holes that are used in applications throughout industry, either alone or laminated to other materials

Using polyolefins and fluoropolymers, AET creates lightweight, apertured fabrics with symmetrical holes that are used in applications throughout industry, either alone or laminated to other materials. Unlike other nonwoven fabrics, with the holes burned or punched through the surface, Delnet thermoplastic fabric materials are embossed with a precise hole pattern. Then, during orientation, or the stretching process, the highly uniform and repeatable hole pattern is created, and strength is established. By varying the process parameters, an infinite variety of Delnet materials can be created with special characteristics to meet any market requirement.

While most Delnet products are made from polyolefins, a recent innovative development has added a fluoropolymer nonwoven fabric to the product line. In addition to the purity, high strength and non-stick properties of the polyolefin fabrics, the fluoropolymer fabric also offers superior temperature and chemical resistance.
