Global Apparel Network Quickly Expands US Operations

Strong Market Reception To Visuality Drives Addition Of Accomplished Team

NEW YORK, NY – Global Apparel Network, a provider of visual collaboration solutions for the fashion and related industries, announces the expansion of its operations in the Americas with the addition of four new US regional offices. Fueled by the highly positive reception to the company's launch earlier this year of Visuality™, the only solution built specifically to help fashion and lifestyle companies communicate visually, the company has tapped five of the industry's most accomplished business development executives to lead its efforts.

As headquarters for its Americas operations, Global Apparel Network (GAN) has opened an office at 275 Madison Avenue in New York City. John Robinson, a 20+ year veteran of the apparel industry, has been named President, Americas for the company and will manage operations from the new headquarters. Robinson grew up in the apparel industry at his family's firm Robinson Manufacturing Company, a provider of activewear products in Dayton, TN. For that past 19 years, he has marketed leading-edge technologies to the fashion and lifestyle industries, most recently serving as Vice President of the Apparel Business Unit for Lectra USA. He holds a business degree from the University of Tennessee.

New sales and support offices have also been opened in Charlotte, NC; Grand Rapids, MI; and Los Angeles, CA. Four new business development executives have been added, forming a solid team of proven management professionals that bring vast industry expertise to current and future Visuality customers. Simon Poulton, a noted expert in the design field through his work within the industry as well as with Computer Design Inc. and Lectra, will manage the northeast region from the New York headquarters. Also with over 20 years of business development experience focused on large retailers and formerly at CDI and Lectra, Dennis Harrington will manage key accounts throughout the midwest region. Positioned in Charlotte, NC for the southeast region is Paul Tyson, who has a strong track record of technology sales in all segments of the fashion and lifestyle industries including furniture and home furnishings during his 17 year tenure at Lectra. Leading the western region, Chris Munson is an accomplished technology business development executive focused on fashion and lifestyle formerly at Lectra and Oracle.

"We are extremely pleased with the reaction that the North American market is showing for Visuality", stated John Robinson, President Americas. "We are seeing many similarities here to the fast start we experienced in Europe, where we quickly secured more than 50 industry-leading customers. Based on the feedback we are receiving from retailers, brands, and producers alike, we are building a strong, professional team that will solidify our capability to serve the market into the future."
