Globe Manufacturing Corp. Announces “Stretch to the Future” Scholarship Design Winners
May 24th marked the second annual Stretch to the Future Fashion Show presented by Globe Manufacturing Corp, in conjunction with Manhattan's own High School of Fashion Industries (H.S.F.I.), which ran within the school's annual end-of-the-year fashion show.

For the stretch fabric section, 38 garments were designed using Globe's Glospan fabric, donated by participating mills. The students were also required to compose an essay explaining why they chose the particular fabric and how it fulfilled their design expectations.

Garments were then judged by a panel of industry experts including trade editors executives from participating mills, in addition to this year's official judge and honoree, shoe designer Steve Madden.
