Industry Week Magazine Names Paxar's Monarch Making System One of the Top 10 Best Plants in the USA

Industry Week, which began the America's Best Plants award a decade ago, salutes companies that "excel at sensible use of technologies, simultaneous engineering, flexible equipment and people, extensive employee training, and partnerships with both customers and suppliers." Award recipients are selected after being examined by the magazine's editors and outside experts who conduct on-site plant visits to observe company practices and performance.

Recently, the Miamisburg facility has been successful in reducing the number of raw materials while increasing the variety of products. Additionally, it developed a Practical Process Improvement team, where a supplier participates and contributes to a reduction strategy, created a paperless documentation system for their ISO strategy, implemented pollution prevention programs and offered factory employees certification and validation incentives.
