DisplayMaker FabriJet XII is designed specifically for the fabric sampling and short-run production markets. According to the manufacturer, the machine provides a fast and cost-effective way to run a graphic designer's idea in to a textile sample or a strike-off that accurately represents the finished product.
The printer's 12-printhead design can print at 600-dpi with a set of eight colors at 8-yd²/hour (&-m²) or with two sets of six colors for higher production printing speeds of more than 16- yd²/hour (19- m²). The printhead height is adjustable, accepting fabric caliper up to 0.15-in. (3.81-mm) to accommodate a broad range of fabrics. The printer prints on Texta-Chrome Dye Inks for cottons and silks, as well as on a variety of pretreated, unbacked fabrics. In addition, the machine features heated dual dryers, allowing prints to dry properly before being wound onto the take-up spool.
