KIDS R US® Implements eWarna's Color Collaboration Solution

XMatch™ Web-Based Color Management Solution Aims to Accelerate Time to Market

MALACCA, Malaysia – eWarna, the world leading developer of online color collaboration solutions for fashion and other color-critical industries, is pleased to announce the addition of Kids R Us® (NYSE: TOY) to its rapidly growing international client list. Currently in phase one implementation at the children's retailer headquarters in Paramus, NJ, and selected suppliers worldwide, eWarna's new Xmatch™ web-based solution promises to drive time out of the color submission and quality control processes, and to improve communication and collaboration among internal teams and with suppliers.

eWarna's XMatch™ is a unique web-based software that addresses the color approval process in the same way that other online processes (from buying airline tickets to making internet banking transfers) cope with complex multi-party supply chains.. By allowing users around the globe to access their section of the same central database of color readings and job details, and by giving them instant access to real time status summaries and reports, XMatch™ differs from point to point email solutions that simply replace a confusion of swatches with a confusion of emails. XMatch™ also caters explicitly for the role of agents, buying offices and garment makers who pass on and review color without either specifying or creating it – eWarna's experience to date is that more than 80% of those involved in the color supply chain are in this category. Lead times are cut by filtering out unacceptable lab dips at source: retailers and other color specifiers can review lab dips digitally until an acceptable match is achieved, then ask for physical swatches.

"Sourcing departments are challenged to maintain consistent and timely communications throughout the color process", stated Richard Lawn, CEO of eWarna. "We developed XMatch™ to solve these challenges by helping customers reduce the number of lab dips, institute more consistent communication with suppliers, and enable precise and effective change management processes. Over time, the central database builds enough confidence for users to switch to fully digital color approval, but that is a longer term goal."

XMatch's web-based platform offers simple and scalable deployment, which is particularly important with the global supply chain models that are common today. eWarna's software rental pricing model also makes these advanced solutions affordable to any size business – specifiers and suppliers alike.

"We look forward to working with Kids R Us to help them achieve their color management goals", commented John Mackay, Sales Executive for eWarna in the Americas. "The market response to XMatch™ has been highly positive, validating our commitment to providing solutions that drive time, costs, and errors out of the color process."
