Made to Measure Software for Sewn Products Industry

OptiTex Modulate is a made to measure software developed to custom fit sewn products for the apparel, upholstered furniture, industrial products and transportation interior industries. For each product, a particular set of dimensions is assigned, based on particular measurements or specific manufacturing requirements. The dimensions are illustrated as a simple scheme on the screen, and each dimension can be adjusted to fit a particular body or product order.

The software produces parametric models, which are sets of patterns used to construct a custom fit product. The user enters the product dimensions and specifies the parametric relation within a single pattern or between a set of patterns. The developer states that the user can instantly assign names and relevant measurements and then enter alternations. In addition, the user can see each step on the screen when defining the parametric model. Once the parametric model is fully defined by a set of dimensions, it is ready to be used regularly to generate an unlimited number of different products.

The software can be used for both single unit and mass production and comes with a variety of PDS tools. In addition, the software offers for connectivity existing CAD/CAM systems and is compatible with most standard or industry specific hardware. It is currently available in 14 different languages.
