Marietta Drapery Expands Use Of Eton UPS System

Alpharetta, GA — Eton Systems, the world's leading provider of unit production systems (UPS) for the sewn-product industries, announces that Marietta Drapery & Window Coverings Co. will expand use of the Eton System in its Marietta, GA manufacturing facility. This addition of 18 new workstations will represent the second system expansion since their original installation in 2004 and will enable the company to perform all sewing and finishing operations on the conveyorized handling system.

The 60-year old manufacturer leverages its strong market presence and reputation for quality products and service to market a wide range of window and bed treatments to multi-housing and university, hospitality, healthcare, and office building markets. As the nation's oldest and largest direct manufacturer of window coverings for the multi-housing industry, Marietta Drapery employs approximately 250 people in two manufacturing plants producing bedspreads, blinds, draperies, sheers, and other related products.
