Men's Luxury Sportswear Brand Nat Nast Taps RLM Integrated Business Software

Lyndhurst, NJ - RLM Apparel Software Systems (http://www.ronlynn.com) announces that The Nat Nast Company, Inc. (http://www.natnast.com), an authentic American designer of vintage-inspired luxury men's sportswear, has begun implementation of RLM's FashionManager enterprise software solution at its New York City showroom and offices and South Norwalk, Connecticut headquarters. FM On-Demand, a hosted software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution, will be utilized by Nat Nast teams for financial management and reporting, product lifecycle management (PLM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), retail collaboration through electronic data exchange (EDI), sales force automation (SFA), and integration with third-party logistics providers (3PL). The company expects to go live on the new system with approximately 30 users in January 2010.

"Being a small company with big ambitions, RLM was our optimal choice," noted Nat Nast CEO Lawrence C. DeParis. "FashionManager is an affordable, scalable, comprehensive end-to-end solution with an efficient implementation schedule that made a lot of sense for us. An important factor in our decision was RLM's extensive array of relevant implementations and the fact that their shared software is regularly updated with best practices from this like-minded group, which includes some of the top brands in our industry. The fact that they are a locally operated family-run business with a strong personal commitment to, and reputation for, outstanding customer service just made our decision that much easier."

In conjunction with management of key business processes, Nat Nast will utilize FM On-Demand to address specific business needs, including utilizing costing and integrated bill of materials tools to generate raw materials requirements, uploading inventories from a third-party distribution center in New Jersey, remote access by the national sales team for inventory and reporting, and integration with a soon to be added e-commerce solution.

"We look forward to working with Nat Nast as they grow their exciting business", added Andy Lynn, vice president of business development at RLM. "Our SaaS product is an ideal fit for this and other companies that require comprehensive system capabilities in an affordable, scalable, and rapid implementation package."
