The SUESSEN ParafiL spinning system uses the wrap-spinning method of producing staple fibre yarns known by the term Parallel Yarn. Parallel Yarn differs from ring-spun yarn and open-end yarn in that the fibres are not twisted. The staple fibres remain parallel and are held together by a continuous filament wrapping them spirally. ParafiL spinning systems permit maximum spindle speeds limited only by the filament pirn weight. The yarn path is straight. There are no limitations due to ring or traveller. Only the filament balloons freely, and it has a low air resistance. As a consequence of this, the PL spinning method combines a high production potential with excellent economy:
The output of a PL spinning position is about five times the production of a conventional ring spindle with less power consumption per kg of yarn produced.
