Parallel-Rewinder

The new 402E Parallel-Rewinder for tapes, laminates, foils and specialty products is designed to provide quality parallel and traverse winding. According to the manufacturer, the device offers flexible programming and integration of mechanical and electrical controls to allow for the winding of a range of different materials.

The device features a tape width up to 10-mm, a maximum speed of 250 m/min, a package diameter of 250-mm, a maximum package weight of 18 kg, and a traverse width adjustable up to 300-mm. In addition, the machine can produce cylindrical packages with straight ends.

The manufacturer states that the machine is capable of rewinding insulation for cable shielding, holographic, and security products for bank notes and pressure sensitive films. Additionally, the it can process materials that include PP, PE, PET, and PA foil tapes; aluminum-laminated foil; rubber band; PTFE tape; double-sided adhesive tapes; paper products; non-wovens; twisted monofilaments; and polypropylene tear tapes.
