PCCWeb® Web Based Equipment Control System

Source: Process Control Corporation
PCCWeb® allows you to monitor and cotrol your PROCESS CONTROL equipment using standard Internet technology that is geared towards improving communications links for your production process.
PCCWeb® is a system that enables you to monitor and control Process Control's Guardian® series gravimetric batch blenders, X-Series continuous gravimetric blenders and/or Gravitrol® extrusion and linespeed control systems with a computer equipped with any standard web browser. Each of the Process Control mini-op operator control panels comes supplied with an embedded web server and a built-in Ethernet port. Using the Ethernet port, each of the mini-ops can be connected into an internal network hub and then accessed by any computer within the network using a different address for each. All of the screens have been pre-designed by Process Control software engineers and are used with any Internet web browser.

There is no additional work required by users other than creating the link, and downloading the software.

The PCCWeb® contains many features that are unique in its ability to allow remote communication between the user and Process Control equipment. Operators, process engineers and plant managers can monitor and control any blender or Gravitrol® system remotely using a standard PC. Accounting can easily access material usage information right from their desk.

  • Able to enter and/or change recipes, monitor and control current operations, and examine diagnostics, all remotely.
  • All of the web pages are predesigned by Process Control software engineers, so only basic Internet browsing skills are required to access the system.
  • A user-selectable security system provides multi?level access control to all machine functions and displays.
  • There is no need for any additional "server" computers to remotely access the equipment. The PCCWeb® uses standard Internet technologies and can be provided as an option to all Process Control supplied mini-op operator control panels.
  • There is no confusing serial port wiring. PCCWeb® uses a standard Ethernet port which ensures a reliable connection.
  • You can access all of your PCCWeb® enhanced equipment from anywhere in the world. Connection can be established by either the global Internet or remote dial?in requiring the addition of a single, low cost network modem.
  • For diagnostic and troubleshooting purposes, a Process Control service technician can access your PCCWeb® enhanced equipment from our service center. This connection only requires a remote dial-up modem or your server with a public IP address.
PCCWeb® is a very cost effective method of remote communication. A low cost PC with Internet access and the PCCWeb® software is all that is needed to have complete control of your Process Control equipment.
