Perry Ellis International to Handle American Jeans Wear

Perry Ellis International Inc. announced that it will take over the design and marketing of the Perry Ellis American Jeans Wear line.

Perry Ellis, ECI Sportswear Inc., and Aris Industries Inc. jointly announced that they have agreed to discontinue the Perry Ellis America Jeans Wear license after the year 2000.

ECI/Aris have agreed to renew the license agreement for Perry Ellis Portfolio Loungewear through December 31, 2003.
