Prices go up for Therminol heat transfer fluids

For the first time in more than two years, Solutia Inc. will increase the prices of several of its Therminol heat transfer fluids, effective June 15, 2000. The 5 percent increase, will be applied to Therminol 55, 66, 75, D12, LT, and VP-1 heat transfer fluids. At the same time, Solutia is eliminating per gallon and per pound pricing for all Therminol products and is converting to per drum pricing.

The price increase follows escalating costs manufacturing and raw materials and to support the investments required to meet growing market demand worldwide.

Solutia uses world-class skills in applied chemistry to create solutions for customers, whose products are used by consumers every day. Heat transfer fluids are used in a variety of industries where closed systems transfer heat from a heat source to be used in a manufacturing process.
