Rabbit Runner

Rabbit Runner is our patented fabric temperature profiler. The Rabbit Runner is a complete and portable assembly containing all instrumentation, specialized equipment, software, and instructions necessary for monitoring and documenting you fabric temperature profiles.

The Rabbit Runner software allows you to collect real fabric temperature data. This is superior to any other method (heat tape, infrared, etc...) since this collects the actual fabric temperature and not surface temperature which is vastly affected by air velocities.

The overlay feature allows you to overlay two graphs and analyze them. This makes it easy to identify side to side temperature variance. You can look at the exact time the fabric temperature is above a critical temperature (which you define), and specifically identify shade problems, mechanical problems, etc... This also has a great use in lab to production work. The software will allow you to treat your lab oven as an eight zone Kenyon for example, and you can correctly move from lab to production safely.

The kit includes the following items:

• Laptop PC with the following, or better, features: Intel Celeron 500MHz processor, 5.1GB HD, 64MB SDRAM, 13.1" Active Matrix (TFT) SVGA color monitor, 32x CD-ROM and 1.44MB floppy drive, Windows 98, 2MB integrated video memory, Yamaha 3D sound, 1 year manufacture's warranty, NiMH battery.
• Heavy duty, industial rated, roller carrying case
• Two fast responce J-type thermocouple fabric temperature sensor assemblies (Standard Rabbits)
• Precision machined, level wind, anodized aluminum reel assembly; includes 150 ft. of Teflon coated J-type thermocouple wire and mating connectors pre-installed.
• Thermocouple simulator for calibration of the Rabbit Runner
• SimTek's exclusive Windows based data acquisition software for recording and printing FTP's and process data.
• Extra 150 ft. of J-type thermocouple wire.
• Bungee cord for signal transmission between the reel assembly and the data acquisition input module.
• Data acqusition input module, PCMCIA type II interface to laptop, 6 channel J-type thermocouple input
• Telescoping rabbit retrival pole with grappling hook
