The rapier weaving machine, in step with fashion: a flexible, economical all-rounder. The Sulzer Textil G6200 rapier weaving machine, offering the highest performance world-wide.

With up to eight weft yarn colors and up to 28 heald shafts, the rapier weaving machine offers outstanding flexibility, facilitating at the same time rapid changeovers due to its centralized microprocessor control and our programming system. Its settings are easily optimized with the microprocessor control and transferred by the programming system from one machine to another. Electronically controlled functional units lessen stress on the warp and weft yarns, reduce downtime and assure an excellent weaving quality. Besides producing highly fashionable materials, home textiles, terry cloths, etc., the rapier weaving machine can produce specially delicate, fine and dense fabrics, such as sophisticated Jacquard patterned silk fabrics and industrial filter cloth. The machine thus provides a highly economical means of production with a wide range of application. This machine also represents an economically sound investment in those areas where smaller batch sizes with frequent warp and style changes are called for high fabric quality. The rapier weaving machine is designed for complex technological requirements, reducing yarn stress during processing. This results in good operational characteristics and weaving qualities with a high level of efficiency.
