"We must go beyond the discover stage" Worsham said. Cotton Incorporated has outlined its strategy to increase the demand for cotton through its innovative marketing and R&D program. "New discoveries, engineered products and technologies are used at every level of the supply chain, from cotton testing, dying to spinning through yarn and design, to increase the demand and use of cotton," Worsham added.
Clearly, Cotton Incorporated has set in place an exceptional team with a clear mission. Worsham discussed the newly constructed state-of-the-art complex, which consolidated their research operations with their corporate office. The new facility provides Cotton Incorporated with the tools to offer the latest developments in cotton agriculture, fiber, and textile research and development.

To conclude, Worsham presented a video of the various advertising campaigns that each of us has come to know over the past 29 years. In addition to the ads we, the Cotton Incorporated seal, introduced in 1973, quickly gained and still maintains world-wide recognition.
Indeed, Cotton Incorporated has reinforced the relationship between the consumer and brand, strengthening the demand for cotton in our every-day lives. We all remember slogan marks such as "take comfort in cotton" as well as "the fabric of our lives", which continues to build on this relationship.
