The New UltraScan® VIS Spectrophotometer Makes Color Measurement Of Textiles Easy

Reston, VA - HuntterLab's new UltraScan VIS is a high-performance color measurement spectrophotometer that measures the full range of human color perception in seconds. It easily measures both reflected and transmitted color, and meets CIE and ASTM guidelines for accurate color measurement. Its D65 illumination source is calibrated and controlled in the ultraviolet region for the accurate measurement of whitening agents. Spectral data is reported every 10nm and tristimulus color calculations are performed from 360 to 780nm as recommended by the CIE. UltraScan VIS uses diffuse/8º geometry with automated specular component inclusion/exclusion. It features two sizes of sample measurement areas of 0.75 inch (19mm) and 0.25 inch (6.3mm).

UltraScan VIS includes EasyMatch® QC software and is excellent for research and quality control applications in both laboratory and production environments. EasyGroup software is available for color sorting and sequencing.
