Trident Becomes First To Offer 12 Different Pigmented Water-Based Ink Colors For Digital Textile Printing

Four New Spot Colors Extend FabricFast Color Gamut by 20%

Brookfield, CT - Trident announces a twenty percent extension in the FabricFast color gamut, with the introduction of four new spot colors: orange, violet, red and green. FabricFast pigmented, water-based ink jet inks with binder revolutionize textile designing, sampling and printing by offering an extensive color gamut in colors that remain true from design to production.

"Today the textile printers have access to the widest color gamut ever available in pigmented, water-based inks," said Steve Liker, Business Development Manager at Trident. "FabricFast provides color-intense digital textile printing that matches the color, soft hand and light fastness properties of production, pigment screen pastes."

Ideal for printing garments, home textiles, signs, banners, flags, tags and labels, FabricFast is now available in the following 12 standard and spot colors:

Unlike dye-based inks, FabricFast uses a "dry" process that does not require post washing and the use of expensive steamers to bind inks to fabric. It can be used on cotton, polyester, nylon, rayon, silk and blends with simplified head fixation of 150° C for 2.5 minutes.

Available worldwide, FabricFast can be used in any color textile digital printer with an Epson piezoelectric inkjet printhead- including Mimaki, Roland, Mutoh and Stork systems.
