Twin Soft Flow
The TSF represents a major advancement in rope dyeing technology which overcomes the fundamental drawback of the present jet/overflow systems by providing a significantly more gentle and relaxed dyeing environment for the treatment of all fabrics with the additional advantage of increased machine flexibility and ease of operation.
> By distributing the waterflow simultaneously at two points along the fabric length, the natural deceleration of the fabric is fully compensated. As a result, fabric speed of up to 280m/min at a maximum nozzle pressure of 0.18 bar brings superior fabric quality by eliminating pilling, rope and crease marks.
The TSF system also offers a safer dyeing environment and reduces processing times, as the two soft flow nozzles provide a 100% increase in fabric to liquor exchange for every revolution of the fabric.
Also instrumental in realising the TSF system performance is the elbow plaiter system with the incorporated liquor by-pass. Both of these features ensure that perfect storage of the fabric within the J box is maintained, so that the fabric travels from the back to the front of the machine without tangles, knots or tension. With such low pressure nozzles, the TSF system ensures this tensionless movement.
The Excess Liquor By-pass not only ensures that orderly storage of the fabric is maintained by diverting enables the liquor to take a more direct route to the circulation pump. This allows the VENUST machine to comfortably operate at a liquor ratio as low as 1:5.
The high volume, low pressure pump system provides rapid liquor circulation times, typically in the region of 35 to 45 seconds. This high volume delivery enables the TSF system to incorporate large nozzle dimensions and give the flexibility to run different fabric weights and types on the same rope therefore further increasing productivity.
The Twin Soft Flow is now available with both AquaChron SMART and AquaChron xl performance.
