Vapex

Vapex is a specially formulated, high precision monolithic membrane of hydrophilic polyurethane fabricated from solution by Enterprise's unique casting process. The polymer structure of the membrane is engineered to allow single molecules of water–vapor to pass through, but at the same time exclude all liquid water such as from rain, sleet and snow – resulting in a high performance waterproof yet breathable barrier.

There are unlimited possibilities for applying Vapex laminates to performance fabrics. Enterprise's family of waterproof breathable membranes can be laminated to virtually any fabric including nylon and polyester wovens, knits and nonwovens. The Vapex barrier can be laminated on its own to fabric or perform as a "hidden" inner layer sandwiched between two other fabrics.
