Web-based Service for Retailer/Brand Owner Supply Chain

InfoChain Express is a new service designed to improve information flow along the retailer/brand owner supply chain. The manufacturer states that it allows trading partners in the retail and brand owner supply chain to exchange and access information in one step.

Because the system is web-based, this service can eliminate the need for multiple, linear EDI systems. The manufacturer states that the service can provide improved accuracy increased levels of compliance, fast throughput, and improved visibility of information.

The service offers the capability to transmit merchandise P.O. electronically; receive, acknowledge, view, change, and redirect merchandise P.O.; generate orders for required carton labels and product ID; scan merchandise; print carton labels at factory or warehouse locations; and generate and transmit packing lists and advance ship notices (ASN).
