Yarn carriers is the term for the products manufactured by Paragon that are used to wind yarns, threads, fibers, and fabrics. Paragon produces 12 types of cones, six types of dye tubes, six tubes, and nine single head spools (kingspools). On certain products, there are also snap-in inserts to fit the nose of the product for additional identification purposes. 36 standard colors are available to aid in your yarn/thread identification.

Paragon also manufactures a variety of custom carriers. Should you need a product not offered here, please contact our sales representative.

Winding cones and tubes are made from either general purpose polypropylene, copolymer polypropylene, or a combination of the two. Some customers prefer the stiffness of the copolymer, otherwise there is no difference in the winding performance of the cone. Paragon's cones and tubes are used on most winding equipment.

The Paragon rigid dye tube is available in the standard and No Separator ("NS") designs. The standard dye tubes require separators, while the NS design includes a 1/4" extension at the nose which allow the dye tubes to "nest" when stacked on a spindle. Resin used is general purpose polypropylene. The 150 NS and the 190 RS are new products for Paragon. The company has had the standard versions of these two dye tubes for several years. The 150 NS has the 1/4" extension for stacking ability.

Paragon offers nine different sizes of single head spools with a variety of surface finishes. Also available are insert rings in all 46 standard colors to be used as yarn identification. Spools are offered in black only.
